MALAWI TO IMPORT MOZAMBIQUE ELECTRICTY.

Malawi is 100% geared set to commence importing 50 megawatts of electricity from Mozambique come second quarter of this year.

Government Chief Secretary Dr. Justin Saidi has revealed this today in Lilongwe during the 60th Southern Africa Power Pool Executive Committee meeting which held under the Malawi-Mozambique Power Interconnection Project (MOMA), initiating Malawi into the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP) to boost the country’s energy security.
