President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has officially named the newly constructed stadium in Mwanza after the late Joyce Chitsulo, former Mwanza West legislator and Deputy Minister of Local Government, Unity and Culture.
The stadium was opened on September 4, 2025, in a ceremony attended by government officials, traditional leaders, and Chitsulo’s family.
